Tachograph download

Remote tachograph download. In development.

We are developing remote download of digital tachograph and driver card data in GPS Italia. The feature is not yet available to all customers: when it is ready, it will first be enabled as a trial on individual accounts.

Remote tachograph download is in development and not generally available. Information on this page describes the planned feature and will be updated when its status changes.

BUILT FOR THE EVERYDAY

The details that make a difference.

01

What it will do.

Download data from the vehicle unit and the driver card remotely, through a compatible GPS device connected to the tachograph, without going to the vehicle.

02

What it requires.

A digital tachograph, a GPS device able to communicate with it and a company card for authentication. Compatibility is checked vehicle by vehicle.

03

Where it stands today.

The feature is in development and is not part of the current offer. We do not yet publish dates, prices or a list of supported models.

WHY IT MATTERS

Mandatory downloads. Fewer trips to the vehicle.

EU rules require transport companies to download and keep tachograph data: at least every 90 days from the vehicle unit and every 28 days from the driver card (Regulation (EU) No 581/2010). Remote download aims to make this routine easier to manage.
