How often is the position of the vehicles updated?
It depends on the GPS device, its configuration and network coverage. The platform always shows the latest position received and when it arrived.
Can I locate the fleet from my phone?
Yes. Positions, alerts and history are available on the web and in the GPS Italia app.
Can I show a vehicle’s position to a customer?
You can create a location link with an expiry date and an optional password, without giving access to your account.
Can I locate vehicles driven by employees?
Yes, in compliance with the GDPR and Article 4 of the Italian Workers’ Statute (Law 300/1970), which for remote monitoring tools may require a union agreement or authorisation from the Labour Inspectorate. Inform the people involved and check your obligations with your consultant.
